About King's Home
King's Home is a place where hope lives.
Prodigal Pottery is a part of King's Home, a large non-profit organization comprised of over twenty residential group homes spanning all across the state of Alabama. These group homes provide housing, along with a variety of other resources, to women and children fleeing domestic abuse, homelessness, and other difficult circumstances.
Residents of King's Home are taught necessary skills and provided with tangible services in order to enable healing from difficult backgrounds, the breaking of cycles of abuse, and the building of healthy relationships. King's Home helps residents take steps towards becoming independent, productive members of the community, while giving compassionate care in a Christ-centered environment.
Prodigal Pottery is a ministry program specific to King's Home that provides women who are current or former residents with meaningful work, while simultaneously training them with job skills that will serve them as they seek employment in the outside community.
